Мaksym Viktorovych Yefymov —

His work is connected both with the growth of industrial production of wind‑energy equipment and with the implementation of wind farm projects.

More details

-is a Ukrainian entrepreneur and politician, and one of the pioneers in the establishment and development of modern wind energy in Ukraine.

In the early 2010s...

with his participation, the only Ukrainian plant for the production of multi‑megawatt wind turbines was established in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, based on cooperation with the German company Fuhrländer AG. This became the first example of localized production of modern wind‑energy installations in Ukraine and the post‑Soviet region, and contributed to integrating the national machine‑building sector into the renewable energy industry.

ʼʼactivity

He is a co‑founder...

of Wind Parks of Ukraine LLC, which since 2011 has been engaged in the design, construction, operation, and technical support of wind farms. The company has created a full‑cycle wind‑energy ecosystem, which is unique for Ukraine.

\\ As a Member of Parliament, he co‑authored legislative changes that simplified the construction of wind farms.

He supported the concept of the feed‑in tariff as an effective state mechanism for early‑stage sector development and for reducing investment risks. After the start of the full‑scale war in 2022, companies associated with Yefimov abandoned the preferential feed‑in tariff mechanism and transitioned to market‑based electricity sales models.

In 2023, after resigning from parliament,

Мaksym Yefimov returned to active entrepreneurial activity, focusing on the development of energy machine‑building. He is a co‑owner of Friendly Wind Technology LLC, which, after relocating its production from Donetsk region to Zakarpattia, continued developing wind‑turbine manufacturing. The company remains the only Ukrainian producer of multi‑megawatt wind turbines and is continuously working to deepen production localization.

Participation in the development of a plan

Ukraine’s only multi-megawatt wind turbine manufacturing plant

2011

Co-founder of LLC “Wind Parks of Ukraine” Management Company

The company built a full-cycle wind energy business

2025

Co-owner of “Friendly Wind Technology” LLC

The company is Ukraine’s only manufacturer of multi-megawatt wind turbines

2025

“Friendly Wind Technology” Industrial Park

In 2025, mass production of wind turbine blades was launched here for the first time.

ʼʼactivity

At Yefimov’s initiative,

the Friendly Wind Technology Industrial Park was established in 2023, fully oriented toward energy machine‑building and renewable energy. The park unites production and engineering facilities involved in manufacturing components for wind‑energy installations. In 2025, serial production of wind‑turbine blades began here for the first time — a significant technological breakthrough not only for Ukraine but also for Eastern Europe.

Karpaty International School

Мaxim Yefimov places a strong emphasis on supporting children as the foundation of the country’s future, investing in the development of a modern educational environment. He is the investor and patron of the Karpaty International School & Community Space project in Perechyn and has financed the construction of a complex with a total area of over 20,000 square meters, designed to accommodate 890 students.

Maksym Yefimov is also a well‑known investor and philanthropist. A separate area of his work focuses on developing cooperation models between renewable‑energy investors and local communities. Yefimov is one of the authors of an approach under which a portion of revenues from electricity sales is directed toward the development of communities hosting generation facilities.

\\ Тhis approach was first implemented during the creation of the Nyzhnovoritska Wind Farm, the first wind power plant in Zakarpattia region. The project provides for the financial participation of the local community in the benefits generated by the facility.

YEFYMOV

- «Business cannot be successful if the people nearby do not feel an improvement in their quality of life».

In public statements, Yefimov emphasizes the importance of combining the economic efficiency of energy projects with the development of the territories where they are located.
